RJ Davis, born on October 21, 2001, is a guard for North Carolina Tar Heels Men's Basketball. He attended Archbishop Stepican High School where he teamed up with current Duke G/F AJ Griffin. As a senior, he averaged 26.5 points, 8 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 2.1 steals per game, becoming a McDonald's All-American and winning the New York Mr. Basketball award. Davis committed to play at North Carolina in October 2019. As a freshman, Davis averaged 8.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game, shooting 35% from the floor. As a sophomore, Davis took a big lead in production, averaging, 13.4 points, 4.0, rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game, shooting 42.9% from the floor. Davis scored a career-high 30 points in the Tar Heels' 93-86 win vs No. 1 Baylor in the NCAA Tournament. He became the first-ever UNC player to score 30 points, grab 5 rebounds and get 5 assists in an NCAA tournament game.
